Back to Work!

Well, I went to the GEGR adoptathon this weekend, and I met some really cool humans! But I had some pretty stiff competition - my buddies are all just as cute as I am! Lots of my buds got adopted yesterday and I'm really excited for them! Someday I'll get a couch too!

But the GOOD news is, I got to go back to FM's house and see my foster brother (and NEW buddy) Deacon!

He and FM were really happy to see me! FM says now we have some extra time to get some more skills down, so I will be 100% IRRESISTABLE at next month's adoptathon! I'm ready to get to work! Well, maybe after a nap ...

Snow? Nope.

Good thing about a snow day? FM is home all day to cuddle and play with me and foster bro Deacon.

Bad thing about a snow day? The snow. 

This was me when I first went outside this morning with FM. I don't know what she was expecting, but I definitely wanted to get back inside, quick!

I tried ... I really did try to like the snow. And I got used to it eventually. But my precious little footsies were so cold I started jumping around to keep them out of the snow! Maybe my furever family will like my snow dance and fill out an adoption application!

I was so glad to come back in and get warm, and get back to practicing my lying around!

Champion Chompers!

Hello again! Another week down with FM and foster bro Deacon. They are trying to teach me to be more laid back but I am just SO HAPPY when FM comes home! I have to run and jump and give her ALL THE KISSES! She says she's happy to see me, too, but that I can't jump on people. I beg to differ, but I guess I will try to do better!

Highlight of the week: BONES! I didn't think chewing could get any better than the yummy food and treats I've been getting in retirement. But FM got me a big bone - with PEANUT BUTTER inside! My favorite!

As you can see, I'm kind of a messy eater. ;)

FM says that there's going to be this thing called snow coming soon. If it's anything like rain, I don't think I'll be a big fan, but I know FM and Deacon will help me figure it out! I wanna know ALL THE THINGS for when I meet my furever family! 

Not Just a Pretty Face!

Hi everybody! I'm Onyx!

It's been a fun first week in my foster home. I live with Foster Mom and a foster brother, Deacon, who's not only a Greyhound but looks a LOT like me! FM calls me the wrong name sometimes but I listen anyway … most of the time!

I am learning ALL THE SKILLS! I am going to be a very good retiree. I am working on crate training (FM says I'm doing REALLY well for a first timer!) and leash training. I'm ok with the crate but I really prefer being near FM and Deacon. And sneaking onto the couch. And onto the bed. ;) I love stuffies and I recently figured out that bones are awesome! 

As you can see I have a very sweet face! I would love to meet you soon!
